I'll also add nix as there is a really nice wrapper there for it (all I have to do is use vpn up/vpn down

Thanks!, the nix wrapper would definitely be preferable compared to specific instructions for different operating systems. Would be nice if we just had one source of truth for the vpn connection, installing wsl/nix isn't too hard and skynet admins would definitely already have it anyway.
