The crafty controller used for the minecraft servers has an api https://wiki.craftycontrol.com/en/4/docs/API%20V2#authentication-requests

Let people set their username either through skynet account management portal or through discord maybe? Since you have the discord account linked to the wolves account with the discord bot you could let them send in their username with that without needing a skynet account. We don't want to need people to sign up for skynet just to play minecraft and we can't have it not whitelisted.

Ended up not going down this route but rahter adding it to the discord bot that we have.
