+## Overview
+
+Student lightning talks from those returning from co-op.  
+Core group of these will be my (@silver) class.
+
+Each talk will be 5 min, followed by pizza and a nice mixer.   
+Goal is to have a nice relaxing social event and to promote networking.

+Compsoc is going to try a new style of Event: Lightning Talks
+The rough idea is a 5 min (max) talk about a topic, in this case Co-op 
+Then there will be a social, greased by copious amounts of pizza. 
+
+Why Co-op?
+Because many of ye have been in interesting places, learned a fuckton and had a good time doing so.
+Also should be a good networking/social event to meet folks in other years/courses.
+Not to mention, there will be Pizza, lots of it.
+
+Even if you dont want to present you are always welcome to join us.

+## End result
+We had seven people present a summary of their co-ops, the good, the bad and the ugly.
+Seemed to go well for the viewers.
+Pre-ordering the pizza worked well, however we needed more than 5 pizzas for ~23 people
+
