# Lightning Talks

## Overview
|
||
|
|
Lightning talks are a mixer based event where we encourage members returning from Co-OP or internships to talk about teh good, the bad and the ugly of their working experences.
|
||
|
|
We typically have pizza for the event and we (now) pay for the membership of anyone returning (who isnt already a member).
|
||
|
|
|

Welcome back, we hope ye all had a great winter break!

New semester, which means we have another Lightning Talks session!
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
Lightning Talks is a social/networking event featuring Computer Science victims students who've just finished their Co-op/Internships.
|
||
|
|
These students will give ~5 min talks about The Good, the Bad and the Ugly parts of their time working, after which we'll have a mixer with TONS of pizza!
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
If you want to share your experiences reach out to a committee member!
|
||
|
|
You can also just show up the day of and offer to do a talk!
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
As usual, this will take place on Wednesday the 29th in Courtyard Room, from 6 to 8:30 PM!
|
||
|
|
|
||
