# Advent of Code Primer

## Overview
|
||
|
|
Advent of Code (AoC) is an annual programming event where you use any programming language (or even pen+paper) to solve 50 problems.
|
||
|
|
It features a cute story and is a good test of a novice developers progression.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
The downside for us is it hits straight in exam season.
|
||
|
|
|

Advent of Code is a yearly event that happens every December where a programming challenge is released each day until Christmas. This Wednesday we will have a look back at previous Advent of Codes and prepare for this year's challenges!
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
As per usual, this will take place on Wednesday in Student Life Courtyard Room, From 6.00 to 8.30 PM.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
We hope to see you then! Programming socks may or may not be required
|
||
